I just got word from the guys at the Eway54 Ecodiesel plant and the word was “Whoopeee!”
The hardworking guys at the Eway54 Ecodiesel plant has a lot to celebrate because it just supplied 10,000 liters of ecodiesel to a single client/member. (See the picture below.)
Eway54 Ecodiesel supplies 10,000 liters to single client
Butch explains the significance of this milestone:
“we started producing few hundred liters years ago fueling privately owned vehicles including ours. Having clinched a supply agreement with the biggest fastfood joint triggered everything. I vividly remember collecting the UCO ourselves (Ricky, Gerry, Binky and myself) from morning, noon till night time. We started selling BD to be used to PUJ’s placed in 20 liter containers. We soon progressed identifying dealers selling to more customers. Delivering 1000, 2000, 3000 liter to clients. And now, 10,000 liters to a single client. Truly a milestone for the group!”
At this point, it has to be clarified, that Eway54 only supplies biodiesel to its members and only after they’ve fully understood all the important things about the Ecodiesel that we make.
We just don’t sell eco-diesel, we are selling our mission which is to:
- help lessen our impact on climate change in two ways: (1) Converting Used Cooking Oil into ecodiesel, thereby keeping people from dumping it in our water ways and (2) creating fuel that burns cleaner, has less sulfur, and makes diesel engines run more efficiently.
- keep Used Cooking Oil from being sold in wet markets. Used Cooking Oil or UCO contains bad fat and cancer causing chemicals. Sometimes, this is even dumped in our rivers and lakes, causing water pollution and leaching toxins which get absorbed by the fish caught in lakes and seas.
